Av denna akvedukt finns 25 av de ursprungliga valven bevarade. S\u00e5 vi kan s\u00e4ga att ursprunget till staden Alcantarilla \u00e4r romerskt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><a class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dessa vattenhjul, s\u00e5 n\u00f6dv\u00e4ndiga f\u00f6r sk\u00f6rdarna, f\u00f6rs\u00e4mrades l\u00e4tt och led s\u00e4rskilt av \u00f6versv\u00e4mningarnas gissel. De beh\u00f6vde st\u00e4ndigt repareras och byggas om. Mayorazgo de la Villa de Alcantarilla installerade ett vattenhjul av tr\u00e4 p\u00e5 platsen 1457 och det sista hjulet tillverkat av detta material som vi k\u00e4nner till placerades 1890. Det ersattes av ett annat tillverkat av j\u00e4rn 1955.
